Today we went to the Yale Law School, and although today was a sunny day we could enjoy the visit. Mainly we went to visit the bookstore where there are more than 50,000 books Yale Law School was founded in 1824 and is the third oldest law school in the United States. Since its inception, it has maintained a reputation for academic excellence and has pioneered the teaching of law in a more practical, debate-oriented, and critical-analysis manner.

The Tower of music

Imagen
The tower was constructed between 1917 and 1921 as part of the Memorial Quadrangle donated to Yale by Anna M. Harkness in honor of her recently deceased son, Charles William Harkness, an 1883 Yale graduate. When the residential college system was inaugurated in 1933, the tower became part of Branford College. Yesterday we had the experience of going up the Harkness tower, which apart from having many stairs, plays music every day, but the funny thing is that it is played by people who must have the ability to play the notes that They hang from very long and strong cables.

Beinecki

Imagen
Today was very interesting since we changed locations and we were located in the Beinecki bookstore, which is very interesting because it has a structure of marble windows that turn amber when the sun hits them. In itself, this bookstore does not have a window for the books it houses since they are books that are only one volume and that is why in order to obtain them you must have special permission.

Target Trip

Imagen
Last week I went with my friends Manuela, Aitana, and Daniela to Target which was quite a trip due to the fact that when we arrived everything was going well, the uber we took had a karaoke device, which was a lot of fun, but the problem was when leaving, since we could not request an uber and the return on foot was 2hr 41 min, so we had to manage to be able to request an uber and finally return to Yale.

Art Gallery - Beinecke Library

Imagen
Last week we were asked to visit the art gallery, as well as the Beinecke Library, which I attended with my partner and friend Daniela. First, we went to the library, which is characterized by having amber-colored windows and the library in the middle. As if it were a building within another and full of books, the best of all was the air conditioning. After that, we went to the art gallery where I posed for a companion photo Daniela, so we took a tour and contemplated the art in the gallery .
